A Summer’s Day

For the last five years I have built a large collection of songs in the moods of summer. I decided to share a part of it with you. To make a premium selection was not an easy venture - I had planned to include all my favourite songs, but the list grew gigantic (over a hundred titles). After all I compiled a conceptual track listing (a rather scarce portion of my collection). The songs are ordered as in a daily schedule - a song for a particular hour or time of the day. It is important to listen to the songs in the predefined order. Otherwise the anachrony will spoil the experience.

The musical journey can be described as innocent, cheerful, carefree, laid-back, mellow, sweet, exuberant, sentimental, freewheeling, romantic, joyous and sensual. The music is extracted from the eternal compilations “Cafe del Mar”, “Ibiza Chillout Cafe”, “Beautiful Voices” and “A Dream Upon Waking”. It also includes tracks from emblematic albums of various electronic artists such as Air and the shoe-gazers July Skies. You can listen to the tracks below and download the ones you like.
