Be Aware: Child Abuse and Trafficking

The videos in this publication and the subsequent compilations shed light on the problems of malfunctioning societies in the new era of economical and technological progress (temporarily hindered by the global financial crunch). These issues are faced by international movements, non-political organizations and determined individuals. Thousands of advertisements have been dispersed in both traditional and online media to raise the alarm.

This video collection is presenting the problems of child abuse and trafficking. Child abuse by definition is “the physical or emotional mistreatment of children” and it can be categorized as: physical abuse, psychological abuse, neglect or sexual abuse. Whereas child trafficking concerns the dirty business of kidnapping (stealing) children from their homes and families, transporting them abroad or in other part of the country, to be used by others for making money. The children usually are either sexually exploited or forced to work.
