Be Aware: Child Abuse and Trafficking
Child abuse by definition is “the physical or emotional mistreatment of children” and it can be categorized as: physical abuse, psychological abuse, neglect or sexual abuse. Whereas child trafficking concerns the dirty business of kidnapping (stealing) children from their homes and families, transporting them abroad or in other part of the country, to be used by others for making money. The children usually are either sexually exploited or forced to work.
